One Last Moment- Lesson on Forgiveness

If you were to approach this bench and take a seat, having the chance to choose someone you have lost in your life to be there, who would you want to sit with you?  What would you say? What questions would you ask?  If you had one last moment with someone close to you, would you bring up an argument or pick a fight or would you take in every word, and make every syllable count?  Is there something you left unsaid that you now regret?

Too many times we waste energy on petty things, grudges take up too much space that can be used in more productive ways. Take a look at what you value most. Make amends wtih those people in your life that may have caused you feelings, or that you may have crossed. Many times we have things that have separated us because of a hurt feeling, or misunderstanding. This can be our biggest regret if not settled. Life is short. Look at what matters. Forgive where you can. Make peace with yourself, and with your loved ones here now. Live without regrets. You’ll be much happier knowing you’ve done all you can when you had the chance.
